Synopsis

TAD In the Lockhaven Penitentiary, Tad Ryerstad aka Nite-Wing has much time to think about his life and how he got to this point. He thinks of comic books he read when he was a kid and how he wished that the real world was just as simple. Tad's dad was a fence, and often got arrested for selling stolen goods. Tad decided to become a hero, but not like a cop, who he saw as being just as bad as his dad. When he discovered that his dad had become an informant for the police, he told some of his dad's friends. That got his dad killed, his mum arrested and Tad was handed over to a number of foster families because he never lasted long with any of them. Eventually went on to the streets on his own, also provide his own kind of justice there. He took the money he needed to live from what he called 'bad' people, but oftentimes he injured or even killed them. Now, Tad just wants to get out of jail again to continue his fight against evil. And from his standpoint, Nightwing does not do enough to fight evil, thus he will be Tad's primary target ...
